Responsible gambling
RTP Ledger publishes RTP and house-edge data to explain the odds. Casino games give the operator a mathematical advantage over time. Use RTP and house-edge data to set firm limits.
What RTP actually means for you
- A high RTP does not mean that you will win. Every casino game has a house edge.
- RTP is a long-run average across a very large number of bets. RTP does not predict the result of one session.
- Variance can move a session far from the long-run average. A long losing run can occur within the game's normal outcome range.
Play within limits
- Treat gambling as paid entertainment, never as a way to make money.
- Do not increase your stake to recover a loss. This can make the loss larger.
- Set a time limit and a deposit limit before you start, and keep them.
- Use only money that you can afford to lose. Do not use borrowed money.
- Avoid gambling while stressed, upset or under the influence.
- Use the limits, time-outs and self-exclusion tools available from the operator. Regulatory requirements and available protections vary by licence and jurisdiction. Check the operator and relevant regulator.
